Using Natural Area Codes
MLBS.NET allows users to use Natural Area Codes to specify either or both the start and end locations for the driving directions service
between two areas such as from Toronto (8c q8) to New York (8s pr). A Natural Area Codes can be two or more alphanumeric characters that
can specify any area in the world no matter where or what size it is.
Using Natural Area Codes instead of traditional addresses, place names or postal codes can reduce 80% input keys, eliminate the difficulties in
inputting addresses with foreign characters, save the costs and computation time in looking up the geographic coordinates, extend the services
to all areas with/without names, and make the service more reliable.
